2 poops a day x 7 days a week =
YOU NEED CHASING TAILS!!!!

The average dog does his/her business once or twice a day (sometimes more).
 Only one dog = 7-14 piles a week, 28-56 piles a month, 365-730 piles a year!
And if you have two dogs or more just imagine how big that mess could be!

Is dog poop really that bad for your lawn?
Dog waste can not be used as fertilizer. Dog waste can carry parasites and diseases that is harmful to humans and other pets. Dog waste poses a serious threat to our water. Pet waste infects children and adults with disease-causing bacteria and parasites. It also spreads diseases between pets. When pet poop is not disposed of properly, not only does water quality and pet health suffer, but our health may be at risk too. Pets and children who play in yards or in parks where pets defecate are most at risk for infection from disease-causing bacteria and parasites found in pet waste.

Does Chasing tails work all year round?
Yes, as long as your dog is pooping, we are chasing their tail.

What happens when it snows or rains?
Chasing tails works in most weather, but heavy snow or extreme cold can stop us. If there is more than half an inch of snow, we will postpone service for a day or two, until the snow melts away. If snow stays on the ground for more than a few days and no new snow covers it, we will do regular cleanups to prevent excessive accumulation.

Here are some diseases that can be passed from pet waste to humans:

Campylobacteriosis -
a bacterial infection carried by dogs and cats that frequently causes diarrhea in humans.

Salmonellosis -
the most common bacterial infection transmitted to humans by other animals.

Toxocariasis -
roundworms usually transmitted from dogs to humans.

Toxoplasmosis -
a parasite carried by cats that can cause birth defects if a woman becomes infected during pregnancy.

Can my dog stay in the yard while Chasing tails is working?
Yes, we like dogs and enjoy the company. However if your dog is not friendly or will not allow us in the yard we would prefer for you to restrain your dog on the day of service. If we can't get in the yard you will still be charged for the visit, for our time and transportation costs.

Is it possible to get one-time-only service?
Yes! One-time-only or short-term service may be easily arranged any time of the year.

How does Chasing tails charge?
Our prices are based on the size of the property, the number of dogs.

Is there an extra charge for the first time?
There may be an extra charge for the first service if there is an accumulation of waste, this will be discussed with you before you are billed for it.
